What stays on your device

The audio files you import and the transcriptions you get from them are saved only in the app's storage, on your phone. They are not sent anywhere, neither to us nor to third parties. If you uninstall the app, they go with it.

The only internet connection

On first use the app downloads the transcription model, which then stays on the device: from Hugging Face on Android, through WhisperKit on iOS. That connection only fetches the model — no audio, no text and no identifier is sent. From then on transcription works without a network too.

No tracking

The apps contain no analytics, cookies, advertising SDKs or profiling. There is no sign-up, no login, and no user identifier is created.

When you share

If you use Share, Send by Mail or Export, the text leaves the app because you asked it to, and goes to the app you pick at that moment. From there the terms of that app apply: WhatsApp, Mail or whichever you selected.

Permissions requested

• Notifications — to tell you when a transcription is ready.
• Internet (Android) — only for the initial model download.
• Microphone — only when you tap «Record». The recording is saved inside the app, like the files you import, and is not sent anywhere.

The app asks for no access to your contacts, location or camera. You pick the audio files yourself from the system picker, which needs no permission.

This website

The site is a static page hosted on Vercel. It uses no cookies, has no analytics and loads no third-party resources. Like any hosting provider, Vercel records incoming requests in its own technical logs.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top will be updated. Previous versions remain in the project's public history.
